MISSION - WHAT WE DO
focus on educating individuals and helping them build Progressive religious communities, or havurot, which are incipient congregations. So far we have established havurot in numerous Polish cities. Some are on their way to becoming congregations.
VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
We embrace continuity with the Jewish past in Poland, but we are focused on the future, building the framework for renewed religious life.
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
We are training a new generation. The talented graduates are already bringing prayer, music, and a sense of Shabbat and holiday celebrations to Poland’s newly forming Jewish communities. Our lay cantors are able to focus on music that accompanies “life cycle” events, the Passover Seder melodies, Hallel, and some key High Holiday music.
