The Music Is Unity Foundation is committed to uplifting and empowering foster youth as they transition into adulthood. Our mission is to provide essential support by allocating funds to non-profit foster care agencies, ensuring they can offer valuable resources to those aging out of the foster care system.

VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS

The Music Is Unity Foundation envisions a world where every foster youth has the resources, support and knowledge needed to navigate the challenges of transitioning from foster care into adulthood. We aspire to be a catalyst for positive change by providing strategic funding to non-profit foster care agencies, creating programs that inspire creativity, provide educational opportunities, and empower foster youth to unlock their full potential.

SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT

Founded in 2007 by Philip Bailey of the iconic musical group Earth, Wind & Fire and Artist Manager Trinity Bailey, The Music Is Unity Foundation is a testament to their shared passion for music and dedication to empowering youth. With a focus on supporting the underserved community of Foster Care, MIU channels its efforts into providing grants to non-profit, community-based organizations and agencies. These funds facilitate essential supportive services for over 23,000 youth emancipating from the U.S. Foster Care system annually. Through the universal language of music, The Music Is Unity Foundation strives to create a harmonious and supportive environment for those in need, fostering a brighter future for the next generation.
