MISSION - WHAT WE DO
mothers2mothers (m2m) works to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV and improve maternal and child health in sub-Saharan Africa. They empower HIV-positive women as Mentor Mothers to provide education and support. Their goal is to create healthy families and an HIV-free generation.
VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
mothers2mothers (m2m) envisions a world where no baby is born with HIV, and all women and children thrive in good health. Their goals include eliminating mother-to-child transmission of HIV, expanding healthcare access for families, and empowering women through education and employment. They aspire to create lasting health and economic opportunities, ensuring a future free from HIV.
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
m2m trains and employs HIV-positive women to mentor and support other women in their communities. They provide health education, promote medical treatment adherence, and offer essential maternal and child healthcare services. Through this peer-based model, they ensure better health outcomes and empower women.
