SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 20, 2025) – Today, the LA28 Games announced the launch of an open call for production companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to produce the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. “Los Angeles thrives with an unmatched creative energy that I've witnessed firsthand growing up in this incredible city. As we look toward 2028, we're searching for the most innovative minds to help us produce four unforgettable Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies that will showcase LA's spirit to billions around the world," said LA28 Chairperson and President Casey Wasserman. "This initial outreach is about discovering the very best in production who will help bring our ambitious vision for the Games to life on the world's greatest stage." Before a formal RFP is issued later this year, the EOI survey is the first step in the procurement process and is now open. To ensure that candidates have the capabilities to showcase the very best of LA across four Ceremonies, information collected in this first phase includes experience and understanding of overall production delivery of creative strategy and vision; ability to lead technical and operational production components; and previous production experience.
