MISSION - WHAT WE DO
Founded in 1892 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., the National Society United States Daughters of 1812 is a non-profit, non-political, women’s service organization for descendants of American patriots who rendered civil, military or naval service to our country during the years of 1784 to 1815 inclusive.
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
The 1812 Memorial Library is the only collection in Washington, D.C., focused from the end of the American Revolution in 1783 through the ratification of the Treaty of Ghent in 1815. Holdings include more than 5,000 titles in the collection representing some 6,000 volumes. Library Catalog
