MISSION - WHAT WE DO
DARE Generation (DARE Gen) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) arts center dedicated to fostering globally conscious artists who seek to enrich their communities and serve as activists through the arts. Our team of professionals provides services in various areas. We offer performing arts classes, wellness services, and organize community outreach events.
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
As a 501(c)(3) public benefit outreach organization, we want to be able to give back to our communities in creative ways. There are many proven benefits of how the arts serve society on a large scale in academics, overall health, and more. Unfortunately, often times these elements are a luxury and unattainable to lower-income and rural area families. It is our goal to be able to provide high quality performing arts classes to anyone interested, despite their socio-economic background. We organize events catering to underserved communities and partner with schools, orphanages, and organizations year-round. We also view interculturalism as a critical component to personal and communal growth and happiness. On a globe where people far too often treat difference as a problem, and a reason to build artificial boundaries between humanity–boundaries that only serve to fuel the hatred, intolerance, and cultural ignorance of our day–Dare Gen seeks to transgress those boundaries. We promote dialogue and interaction between cultures through a creative lens.
