MISSION - WHAT WE DO
NASBS Mission Statement We educate, innovate, and collaborate across specialties to improve the outcome of patients with skull base disorders.
VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
The Goals of the North American Skull Base Society are to promote dissemination of information about diseases involving the skull base, including the anatomy, physiology, pathology, and clinical management, in order to facilitate coordinated excellence in the delivery of care to patients, and to promote advancement of the scientific basis for treatment of patients with skull base disorders.
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
Our participants are physicians with sub-specialty interest in the diseases of the skull base, particularly neurosurgeons, otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, and plastic surgeons, as well as ophthalmologists, radiologists, pathologists, rehabilitation specialists, medical and radiation oncologists, and others with interest in diseases involving the cranial base. Physicians within the North American continent are particularly targeted and the Society welcomes qualified international members from around the world. The skull base team includes allied health providers and other specialties as well as the residents and fellows joining the specialties of the skull base team.
