MISSION - WHAT WE DO

The story takes us back to 1948, when Johs. Tragethon began renting out mainly to British tourists. The Funkishuset was gradually expanded – and Bardøla Høyfjellspensjonat took shape. In the mid-1950s, the guesthouse consisted of 11 rooms.

SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT

In 1995, Ola Vindegg became both co-owner and chairman of the operating company, and together with the host, he took over the entire property in 1997. In 2000, Ola became the sole owner, but invited Roger Espeli and Terje Simonsen early on. Ola was the main shareholder until 2007, when a generational change was carried out. Ola Vindegg built log cabins in connection with the hotel. From the first ones in 1997 - up to today's 26. In 2001, the hotel was completed with 24 new, modern rooms and expanded restaurant capacity. Today, the hotel has over 600 beds. The hotel is well-run and solid, largely thanks to Ola's sense of constant quality and expertise in maintenance.
