MISSION - WHAT WE DO
The Jennifer A. Kay Foundation is 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to promoting and improving the math and science education of young women. It was established in memory of Jennifer Ann Kay, who taught high school mathematics in Bayonne, New Jersey and Jersey City, New Jersey prior to her death in 2006 at 42 years old.
VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
Our goal is to make math and science an enjoyable and engaging topic for all young women. We therefore do not focus exclusively on supporting "star" pupils, or on encouraging young women to pursue careers in math or science.
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
They teach skills and values - for example, analysis, abstract thinking, discipline, tenacity, and creativity in problem-solving - that have life-long value for a woman, regardless of her profession
