MISSION - WHAT WE DO
The Walls Family Scholar Athlete Foundation (TWF) was established in 2007 by Larry Dean Walls, Esq. to recognize and reward scholar-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and strong leadership skills on and off the court as well as within their communities. This 501(c)(3) charitable organization has three primary objectives: To identify and support scholar athletes with collegiate potential from historically underrepresented communities. To promote academic and athletic excellence throughout high school. To provide recognition, encouragement, and scholarships to exemplary students.
VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
The vision is that through continued recognition they will remain inspired and improve their chances of continuing their academic and athletic pursuits at the college or university of their choice. An additional focus is to illustrate to the students and the community at large the importance of developing not only athletic skills but academic excellence.
