MISSION - WHAT WE DO

The alarming rise in the prevalence of autism, developmental disabilities and other special needs over the past 30 years compels us to recognize that our current system does not adequately support the large wave of individuals with special needs entering adulthood. Individuals with I/DD "fall off the cliff" when they turn 22 and they get thrown into a system that is underprepared and underfunded, leaving many families scrambling. As a result, there is a critical need to address the shortage of supportive housing and services for adults with special needs. It is imperative that we create a safe environment that allows individuals to stay connected to their support systems, friends, and communities.

SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT

Elevare Community offers advisory services in various key areas including life planning, residential program placement, management consulting, housing development to procure a path to a flourishing life for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live and prosper in a nurturing, supportive, and empowering environment.
