MISSION - WHAT WE DO
We use education and athletics to develop the next generation of African leaders.
VISION - GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS
Increase year-to-year school retention rate Increase middle and high school graduation rates Provide high quality athletic training Reduce education gender gap Promote civic participation among youth
SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT
ACADEMICS With access to local private or public education, we expect our students to excel equally as much in academics as they do in athletics. Being that most students moving on are attending college of some sort, it is important to give them proper guidance prior to that transition. Given the opportunity to study abroad in the United States, Europe, Africa, and Canada we want our students to be confident in necessary aspects of life there. Each student will take English Language classes as well as Computer Training courses. For our High School students we will help prepare them for all necessary College entry exams ATHLETICS Utilizing scouting programs and elite training camps conducted across Africa, we will recruit top prospects to attend our development program. Our students will have access to a state of the art training facility with a full basketball court, weight room, multidimensional activity center, trainers and coaches to train with daily. Becoming an elite athlete and playing at the next level is feasible for many with the right guidance, with the proper resources aligned we strive to be this source for prospering Student-Athletes. YOUTH LEADERSHIP Today's youth will shape their country's future, we believe it is most effective to build within. Through every aspect of our program we emphasize the importance of being a contributing and engaged member of society. To ensure that our participants move into the world confidence and problem-solving capabilities, we provide a diverse offering of leadership development and training. GENDER EQUALITY Young Girls across Africa tend to face disproportionate opportunity when it comes to academics and athletics. Across all programs we will strive for a 1:1 boy:girl ratio ensuring equal opportunity for both. We make sure that everyone in our program engages in gender equality discussions and offer female-specific workshops to empower and offer a safe place for girls to express themselves.
